Mr. Petry has been teaching for 11 years, spending the last 10 at Bonnette Junior high. He teaches all beginner woodwind classes as well as the Wind Ensemble. |
Mr. Bell has been teaching for 12 years, with the last four at Bonnette Junior High. He teaches all beginning brass classes as well as the Symphonic Band. |

| Summer Commitment ~ | None! Have a great Summer!!! |
| School-Year Commitment ~ | 2 after school rehearsals before the Christmas concert and 2 after school rehearsals before our Spring concert. |
| Instrument Selection Process ~ | Each student will go through an "instrument fitting" in the spring to see what instruments they will be successful on from day 1. |
| Trips ~ | Early Spring to watch High school band / Itz. & End of the Year waterpark trip. |
| Awards/Honors ~ | The Bonnette Symphonic and Wind Ensemble bands has constantly earned top marks at their competitions. The Wind Ensemble was recognized nationally in 2018. |

| About Us ~ | The Bonnette Band has consistently won top honors at the UIL Concert and Sight Reading evaluation. In 2018 the Wind Ensemble was nationally recognized for their performances. We strive to not only have a top tier band program, but also a family atmosphere. Currently we have 180 members in the Bobcat band and we are always looking for more students to grow our program. |
